euPrevent shares cross-border experience in pandemic preparedness

There are a lot of lessons that can be learned from COVID-19, especially in a border region. Based on our cross-border experiences on COVID-19, euPrevent was asked by the partners of the PERISCOPE project, of which we are an associate partner, to developed together with GGD Zuid Limburg an online training module. As part of a larger online training about COVID, we developed a module on “The importance of Euregional cooperation”. This module is based on the experience through collaboration with partners from the border regions, and stresses the importance of Euregional cooperation, not only from research and policy perspective, but also from the citizen’s perspective. We hope our lessons learned can contribute to a better crisis preparedness and response in the future.
