Digital Kick-off Conference euPrevent PROFILE

The project partners of the euregional project euPrevent PROFILE would like to invite you to the Kick-off Conference on Thursday 30 September 2021. PROFILE stands for Prevention of loneliness older people in the Euregio. During the online event, the project will be officially launched.

euPrevent PROFILE aims to stimulate cross-border cooperation with the general objectives to:

  • Prevent and combat unwanted loneliness among older people
  • Exchange knowledge and best practices on loneliness
  • Raise awareness across regions and generations of the effects of loneliness
  • Connect citizens, professionals and organisations
  • Increase citizen participation

This project is a 2.5-year cooperation between 7 partners in the Euregio Meuse-Rhine. Most partners have been working together for several years on various projects within the euPrevent programme line Mental Health.

  • Euroregional speakers and experts by experience
    Talks about loneliness: different types of loneliness, target groups, facts and forecasts, impact COVID-19, examples from practice.

The speakers will present in their own language. Interpreters will also be present at this digital meeting for simultaneous translation into German, French and Dutch.
