Kick-off conference euPrevent SNA

31 January 2019

The project partners of the euregional project ‘euPrevent Social Norms Approach’ (SNA) are pleased to invite you to the Kick-off Conference on Thursday 31 January 2019. The project will be officially launched during the Conference.

This project is a three-year collaboration between 11 partners in the Euregio Meuse-Rhine (EMR). These partners have been working together for more than 15 years on various projects within the ‘euPrevent Addiction’ programme line.

Social Norms Approach

The Social Norms Approach is used to prevent behaviour that is harmful to health. This approach corrects misconceptions that exist about (un)healthy behaviour within certain target groups by providing targeted feedback.

In the project ‘euPrevent Social Norms Approach’ we look for the social standards of the target groups young people (12-26 years) and seniors (55+). We will studie the social standards for behaviour that is harmful to health, such as alcohol and drug use. The results of these studies will be used to inspire people to make better choices.

This project is supported by Interreg V-A Euregio Meuse-Rhine program.
