“Euregional Health Landscape” map: enhancing access to cross-border health services
December 6, 2024

euPrevent proudly announces the launch of its latest product: the Euregional Health Landscape map. The goal of this map is to provide a comprehensive and borderless overview of health organisations in the border region between Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.

For residents living in border regions, health services in neighboring countries can be sometimes closer by than those within their country of residence. However, finding these services in a different country has always been a challenge due to search results constrained by national boundaries.

The Euregional Health Landscape addresses this issue by highlighting health organizations across the Euregio Meuse-Rhine (EMR) and Euregio Rhein-Maas Nord (ERMN). It presents nine key categories of services: academic institutions, elderly care, addiction services, hospitals, mental health services, patient organizations, public health institutes, revalidation centers, and youth health services.

This map aims to empower border residents by providing a user-friendly platform for identifying cross-border health resources, fostering seamless access to care across the region. The Euregional Health Landscape represents a significant step forward in addressing the unique healthcare needs of border communities.
