Project Cardiovascular Disease Prevention

“Increasing consciousness and access to treatment, reducing the burden of cardiovascular diseases across Europe”. A project of Active Citizenship Network (ACN) in which euPrevent is an associate partner. Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is a primary source of death not only in Europe, but also worldwide. Its manifestations have a major impact on the lives of millions of patients and those around them. However, CVDs can be prevented.

The goal of the project is to increase the awareness on the importance of the prevention, the consciousness on correct lifestyles and access to treatment, and management of pathologies correlated to cardiovascular protection, as well as on the new available therapeutic options that exist today.

Project framework

Target group: civic and patient’s associations and citizens/general public

Partners: 19 national associations in Europe including ACN and euPrevent

Period: 1 June 2019 – 30 December 2020

Focus of the Project

The aim of the project is to increase the consciousness of preventions, to collect good practices and to reduce the burden of cardiovascular diseases across Europe.

The project will carry out the following activities:
